  • Earn a bachelor’s degree in Sales or Sales Management.
  • Earn industry recognized sales certifications.
  • Develop strong oral and written communication skills, public relation and interpersonal skills, public speaking skills, flexibility, and basic computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • If you have an industry of focus, become knowledgeable about it and strive to get experience in that industry while earning your degree (internships, volunteering, job shadowing).
