WGU Indiana Renews Partnership with Indiana Fever

INDIANAPOLIS — For the fourth year in a row, WGU Indiana has renewed its partnership with the Indiana Fever, the state’s WNBA basketball team. This is the longest-running partnership for the state’s online university, which is also celebrating their fourth anniversary in June.

“We’re incredibly proud to partner with the Indiana Fever for a fourth year,” said Chancellor Allison Barber. “We’ll be cheering them on in their quest to ‘Go Further’ and win another championship.”

During the May 29 game, WGU Indiana will have an active presence at the game. Planned activities include an information table inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse with giveaways, including autographed items from Indiana Fever players and Sarah Fisher, a WGU Indiana student and owner of Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing. A special contest will also be held on the court during the game, and WGU Indiana’s mascot, Sage, will make an appearance.

“WGU Indiana has been a wonderful partner with Indiana Fever and represents a forward-thinking, positive reminder that you can achieve your goals at any stage of the game,” said Jim Morris, president of Pacers Sports & Entertainment. “We look forward to another winning year together.”
